“Stone, when it is patient enough, becomes a kind of pause.”

Soft Volumes gathers a generation of contemporary sculptors working between the Gulf and the Mediterranean, all preoccupied with the same quiet question: how heavy can a body be before it stops feeling like one?

Each plinth is lit from below; the works appear to float on their own light. Visitors are invited to walk the room slowly, twice.
